In November 2011 a New Village Sign was unveiled to take the place of the original installed in 1982. The old sign was deteriorating and needed to be preserved. It was the last of over 200 Norfolk village signs carved by the legendary Harry Carter of Swaffham.
The old sign has now been given a new home in the Reception area of the hall.
Harry Carter died in 1983 but we have no record of where the designer of the sign, 15 year old Mark Fairhurst from Reepham High School is now. If anyone knows we would like to contact him. Mark would be around 50 now.
